We are excited that you are here to check things out and get to know your PTO. We are always looking for friends to lend their time, talent or treasure, in order to support our teachers, staff and students.
There is no membership fee to be part of PTO. All parents and guardians of PKMS students are welcome to join us in driving our mission of supporting our students and staff.
PKMS PTO Mission Statement
The mission and purpose of the PKMS PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Pleasant Knoll Middle School by fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers; encourage parental involvement; and to improve the educational and cultural environment at Pleasant Knoll Middle School through volunteer and financial support.

There are several ways you can make a difference at PKMS! Whether you’d like to make a monetary donation, either through our website or Venmo, or help stock our school food pantry, your support directly benefits our students, staff, and school community.

Get Involved — Volunteer!
There are lots of ways to get involved at PKMS, and we’d love to have you join us! Right now, we’re looking for volunteers for Go Gold Day on September 30 and Q1 Incentive Day on October 2.
More volunteer opportunities and sign-ups will be added throughout the year, including incentive days, student events, and the 8th Grade Dance.
Spirit Rock
Reserve the PKMS Spirit Rock!
Celebrate a birthday, special occasion, or group activity with a Fort Mill tradition! The Spirit Rock along Pleasant Road is available to reserve for $15 per day.
Your reservation runs from 5 PM the day before through 5 PM on your reserved date, rain or shine. Reservations are non-refundable.
