We are excited that you are here to check things out and get to know your PTO. We are always looking for friends to lend their time, talent or treasure, in order to support our teachers, staff and students.

There is no membership fee to be part of PTO. All parents and guardians of PKMS students are welcome to join us in driving our mission of supporting our students and staff.

PKMS PTO Mission Statement

The mission and purpose of the PKMS PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Pleasant Knoll Middle School by fostering relationships among the school, parents, and teachers; encourage parental involvement; and to improve the educational and cultural environment at Pleasant Knoll Middle School through volunteer and financial support.

UPCOMING EVENTS

The Foundation for Fort Mill Schools set up a Snack Shack Food Pantry at PKMS and other schools throughout the district. The purpose of the Snack Shack is to help supplement weekend food backpacks for families in need and also to provide snacks, as well as breakfast and lunch items for students during the school day, as needed. The Foundation for FM Schools provided the initial cabinet for food storage and all the food items to stock the cabinet for our first year of use. Going forward, each school is responsible for restocking the food items as needed. The Snack Shack has been a great resource for our PKMS students and families, and we would appreciate any help in restocking our pantry for the school year.
